Here's a sneak peak at some of the items available from Livingston Street Decor at the Tag Sale.

Keep your cool this summer with vintage fans. I love the color on the turquoise one.

Beautiful vintage, framed art. Great colors!

Chic vintage, metal lamp

Adorable vintage, pink shell planter.

OK...these I LOVE. I am going to have a hard time parting with these. Beautiful antique gardening books published in 1948. An awesome set of four with embossed covers. We'll see if they make it to the shop.

More antique books..1904, 1927 and 1936

Vinatge kitchen scale in a summery green color

Modern Household Encyclopedia 1948.

Anna Karenina 1939

The ever useful vintage crates with great graphics.

Nice large vintage cans. Love the colors on the Kraft Shortening can.

Who doesn't love a ready made collection? 1940's and 50's metal flashlights.

Vintage maps...these always look great when framed.

A pair of hip, mid century chairs. I may recover the seats before bringing them to the barn.
I think they are just screaming for some really cool and colorful fabric.

Great vintage lamp! This baby swivels, rotates and bends at four different points.

An entire set of encyclopedias from 1931. Twenty volumes.
These have great graphics and embossed covers.

1930 Gray's Anatomy book.

1936 dictionary with embossed cover.

Classic books dated from 1941 - 1954

A huge 1932 Atlas of the World.

SEE YA AT THE BARN!

Vintage Shopping (and a freebie!) for Mothers Day Weekend

YES!! You read it right! Chartreuse and Co. is OPEN this weekend! What could make for a better Mothers Day weekend than some great vintage shopping.
Friday, May 7        9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday, May 8    9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, May 9       12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

To honor all of you "vintage lovin' mommas" for raisin' your little "lambies", Livingston Street Decor will be giving away a FREE LAMBS EAR PLANT to all mommas!
(while supplies last, but don't worry, I think I have plenty)

Below is a sneak peak at some of the very cool, vintage treasures that can be found at Livingston Street Decor this month.

Love this chippy grey chair! I never, ever pass up cool wood chairs with flat seats. Since they are flat, they can be used as bedside tables, end tables etc. Of course they are always great for extra seating too...

Vintage thermoses, sea themed oil paintings on canvas and seashell items abound this month.

Vintage rusty tin box, galvanized tin boxes that I embellished and a totally awesome vintage polaroid.

I love anything galvanized or zinc! I fell in love with these little boxes (boxes and bottles are a reccuring theme for me also) but had to add some embellishment. Little birdies and english maps...so cool for desk top organizing.

More vintage chemistry beakers (these are a new fascination for me) and a vintage allergy test box.

Close up of the inside of the allergy test box. It lists all of the
testing groups and the specific allergens in each.

Vintage, european art and architecture books.

Ok...we all know that I LOVE silver, zinc, galvanized metal, old aluminum and chalkboards. This month, I combined them all and added some chalkboard paint to some pieces. By the time of the sale, these will also have little herbs (lavender...another favorite of mine) planted in them for you to take home and grow.

Silver trays with added embellishment. I also added hangers on the back, so they can be hung on the wall.

Vintage tray becomes chalkboard...one of my favorite ways to repurpose! I added hangers on the back, in each direction, so you can hang it any way you like.

Don't these just scream SUMMER? Vintage, yellow enamel ware
and a vintage Catalina souvenir spoon rest.

Vintage, blue and yellow flower glasses. Pair up these babies with the yellow enamel
ware and you are ready for a vintage style summer cook-out.

Vintage clocks. I adore vintage travel clocks!

Vintage tole ware tins and really neat vintage train slips.

Vintage, galvanized metal watering can and a vintage aluminum basin. Together, these are "vintage style cook-out decor!" Plant some pretty little begonias in the watering can and place it beside the aluminum pan, filled with ice and bottled drinks. And don't forget that rusty little iron kettle sitting beside them. It needs some flowers too!

Ok..I hope that wets your appetite and I hope to see you all at the barn this weekend!

Don't forget, we are also open our usual, third weekend of the month
Friday, May 21    9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday, May 22   9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, May 23   12:00 - 5:00 pm

Some of the vendors from Chartreuse and Co. will also be at the great Lucketts Spring Market on
May 22 and 23. This is another great weekend of vintage shopping all within 25 minutes of each other. Hit the Spring Market and visit the Chartreuse girls and hundreds of other vendors from across the country. Then stop by the barn (Chartreuse and Co) and shop some more!
