Vintage Functionality and some Pretties too!

Look at how this baby turned out! Vintage functionality (yup...that's my newly coined term...vintage functionality) at it's finest. When I finished this cabinet today I almost took "her" back home...I really love the way "she" turned out.

I decided to bring some SPRING to my space this month by printing some of my original photographs (yes, another hobby/passion of mine). These are printed in amazingly vivid color (these pictures do not do them justice) on canvas, and then matted and/or framed.

OK...this beauty I am having trouble parting with. The bench was a mess, so I strengthened the seat and recovered it with some beautiful, light blue fabric adorned with birds. Check out the pics below to see the detail and patina that this beauty comes with.

I was still in the process of painting this "diamond in the rough" when I photographed it. A vintage armoire, painted white, with the front panels painted in chalkboard paint. VINTAGE FUNCTIONALITY!

This would be great in a mudroom to catch sports gear and leave notes or sports schedules/reminders for the kiddies. $128.00

I LOVED this picture as soon as I saw it! Such great colors! The frame was such an ugly color, that it detracted from the picture, sooooo....a little robins eggs blue paint and voila!
